Did you know we all have parasites, viruses, and bacteria on or inside us? It’s weird, but true. The world around us is full of organisms that could do us harm, which could be in our soil, water, food, or even carried by the bugs that bite us. They are on our hands and arms, so it is inevitable that we get them. Our pets are also susceptible to them and they share them with us. We treat them for it, so why not do the same for us. How do we get rid of them?

Antibiotics are one way to treat bacterial infections, but they also kill the good bacteria that help us digest food, absorb nutrients, and produce vitamins. We personally try doing things not to harm these good guys. So antibiotics are a last choice. One option is to consume foods that contain these friendly bacteria such as yogurt, buttermilk, and cheeses. Other foods that contain friendly bacteria include fermented foods like sauerkraut, beer, kimchi, sourdough bread, chocolate, miso, and tempeh.

Traditional medicine also treats parasites in the same way. Using prescriptions for antiparasitics, antibiotics, and antifungals to kill them off. What if you do not want all of these medications? There are other ways to fight these germs and parasites. One way we learned about while in Quartzsite, is by using a Rife machine. There aren’t any case studies to prove the machine works, which is controversial, but there are multitudes of anecdotal stories from people that have benefited from it. It does not replace traditional medicine, but I think it could be a good supplement.

We learned about Rife therapy from some of our friends who have tried it this winter. They talked about their experiences doing the treatment and they all felt better afterwards, so we thought we would give it a try.

The Rife machine was invented by Royal Raymond Rife in the 1930’s. He believed that radio waves could be used to treat various ailments. His theory is based on the idea that all organisms and diseases have a specific frequency at which they resonate. If you use the right frequency, you can destabilize or destroy the diseased cells or parasites without harming healthy tissues. The resonance theory makes sense to me, in the same way an opera singer’s voice can break a glass, or bridges can collapse by wind, like the Tacoma Narrows bridge, or from armies marching over them. Dr. Rife and his work was discredited back then, but has persevered over the years, gaining more interest and good results as a supplemental treatment for many things, including cancer.

Newer Rife Machines use electromagnetic frequencies instead of radio waves to promote natural healing and wellness in a non-invasive manner. The process was quite simple. To evaluate our bodies, we held a special rod connected to the machine in our left hand while another cord is connected to our right middle finger by a clip, like you see for monitoring your heartbeat. When the machine was turned on, it took a reading of the frequencies present in our bodies Since all organisms have their own frequency, it can identify what is in us by them. It then displayed the top 10-20 issues you have. Issues could be parasites, bacteria, viruses, or inflammation. I had 12 hits and Tom had 13, but they were all very low levels. For treatment, we kept holding the rod in our left hand, removed the clip from the right hand, and held another rod in our right hand, both of which are connected to the machine. It then sends healing frequencies that match your top hits through those rods and your body. I could feel a slight energy as I held the rods and Tom said he could feel his pulse in his hands as it was running. Each issue had a three minute treatment and we didn’t feel any worse for wear afterwards.

It was weird and a little unsettling what we needed treated. We mostly eat the same things and drink the same water, but only had one thing the same between us. It did pick up joint inflammation for me, which my knees and wrist have been sore, and I had trichinosis pick up: I love a good pork chop. For Tom it registered a parasite from a perch in the backwaters of Wisconsin rivers, someplace he spent a lot of time when he lived there over twenty years ago. We also had hits for various tapeworms and even heartworm that she then had treated. I don’t know if doing this helped any, but I kind of believe it did. My joints feel better, and I feel less congested after the treatment. It would be interesting to do a follow up and see if anything changed, but we needed to move on. I’m glad she fit us in to get the initial scan done before we left.

Something else we’re doing since getting the data on our parasites is a diatomaceous earth cleanse. We take a teaspoon of Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth in some water every morning when we wake up. We plan to do this for 10 days, take 10 days off and then do it again for 10 days. We will keep you posted on how or if it affects us. Diatomaceous earth is a naturally occurring abrasive material that absorbs toxins and cleans your insides as it passes through. It is made up of the fossilized remains of tiny aquatic creatures called diatoms. This is one form of seafood I like. It can also be used to filter water, treat garden plants for bugs, and as a bug killer around the home. It works on bugs by stripping the protective oils from their exoskeleton and cutting them with its sharp edges, in turn causing them to dry up until they perish. Poor little things, but at the same time, good riddance! They’ve been sucking the life out of us long enough.

We did see some new wildflowers along the road today, the California Poppy. Their electric orange yellow colors are eye catching, especially in large masses.
