Geo-Logic Airy-Ah

Sheep Creek Canyon is named after the Bighorn Sheep that inhabit the area, but darned if we didn’t see a single one while we were there. What we did see were a diverse array of rock formations, be it color, texture, or the combination of both. We were stopping so often, that it made more sense for Al to take pictures from the box of the truck and shout at me to stop, giving him a higher perspective and clearing the many trees blocking the view from along the road. I have no clue what era the rocks are from or how they were formed, so I will make todays wording brief, and let the pictures give a glimpse of what we saw that day. Like watching clouds, they say many characters or shapes can be seen in the outcroppings. Feel free to let us know what you see?
